I seen a TV commercial/show for a town that was completely destroyed by nature and now the community wants to rebuild. The thing is that they want to rebuild the town totally green. It appears that Hollywood is backing some of the town’s needs, so why not an approach form Solar Roadways; just an idea. I think that the name of the town is Greensville.

I have always believed in solar power. I actually built a small solar powered car as a child. If I could understand the obvious then, why is the world resisting the true energy we need to survive as a species?
I'm writing a novel set in the near future, which will feature electric cars and ultracapacitors (among other things)... Mind if I incorporate Solar Roadways?

This is a new site dedicated to the saving of this planet. It is also dedicated to all those who are using their time trying to make the planet healthy. I welcome any and all comments and tips you may have to make the site better. And to those who have helped to create a change of mind in people.
The change of mind I am talking about involves not just a change of knowledge, but also a change of attitude toward our essential ignorance, a change in our bearing in the face of mystery. The principle of ecology, if we will take it to heart, should keep us aware that our lives depend on other lives and upon processes and energies in an interlocking system that, though we can destroy it, we can neither fully understand nor fully control. And our great dangerousness is that, locked in our selfish and myopic economies, we have been willing to change or destroy that which is far beyond our power to understand.

Hi there - have you guys heard of the town in Kansas that was destroyed by a natural disaster, but they're rebuilding it using entirely green methods? This may be a great place to start a solar roadways project!! If you could obtain funding for just this town, I think within the next few years lots of other cities would follow suit.
Here is a link to Discovery Channel's Green Planet series, which describes the project and may be a good place for you to start your research - perhaps Discovery can create a fundraising campaign for solar roadways.
Well, we will be setting up something really big in vegas at the end of Septemeber. That would be the best way for you get hit a large number of people. By then we expect to have a huge following. Considering we have almost reached almost 1,000 friends in a week.
