First started playing party's back in 94 and getting the chance to play on the infamous WEEKEND RUSH Alongside fellow crew members DARKSIDE KRU,
then doing a few shows on FUSE FM before getting a prime time set on KIK FM (95-97)
With every ending there’s a new beginning and in 1997 Talvin Singh’s Anokha landed in London’s famed Blue Note and Soldgie took up residence
and began touring with Earthtribe (and then Sitar Funk) alongside
acts like Bjork, Asian Dub Foundation, Shut Up & Dance, State Of Bengal,Trans Global Underground and Talvin Singh to name a few.
After working on a couple small club nights Soldgie ended up on LONDON UNDERGROUND 89.4 FM Playing under an Alias name rinsing
out old skool,house and club classics, now 2001 having experienced arenas up to 1500, fashion shows warehouse/forest partys, working with STRAIGHT & NARROW RECORDINGS also P.D.C DISTRIBUTION it was time to concentrate on the sound he loved.
This culminated in meeting Shiva Sound system in 2002 at one of their warehouse parties and went on to joining the collective as resident
DJ and producer. With Shiva Sound system, Soldgie plays at all
of their London events as well as performing to thousand's at GLASTONBURY, LOVEBOX, BESTIVAL and Toronto, Canada.
2005 NU DAWN was born with a residency and offering his experience helping build 1 of London's hottest new oldskool party's, doing the NU DAWN SHOW on
ORIGINUK.NET also representing NU DAWN at Events such as
THE VINYL TOUCH, EPIDEMIK, MOONDANCE, ORIGINAL OLDSKOOL,
DIGITAL EXPRESSION!
