I love to write, read, play cards, pool, and go places with my husband & kids. I am a writer and have been writing since I was 12 but never tried to publish. When I was in the third grade they had a short story contest & I won, so after that I started writing. Just never thought I'd be good enough thanks to the constant criticism from my parents. I lived in an abusive home & it was a way out for me. A way to get away. Reading did the same thing. It took me to another place. I also was afraid to get in touch with my feelings. Deep emotions. Still am a little, but I am so much better now. Writing allows me to enter a place of the unknown. A place where I have control and sometimes what I would love to do and just can't or haven't, I can do in my stories. I can make my own life up. I would write 2-300 pages and than throw it out. My best friend is the only one I ever let read them and she liked them. Writing has always been my passion. I am in the process of writing my first novel. I'm excited! I want to write a mix of Romance, Action, and Suspense. I want to write for teens & woman. I want to write inspirational articles for magazines. About cutting, abortion, rape, ect...I would love to own my own magazine one day & I will! I would love to produce my own stories into a movie. I am taking a writing course now with Long Ridge Writers Group.

I have been married for 16 years now & he is in National Guard part time and he is a full time Fire Fighter for Montgomery County, MD. He was my brother's best friend and he just so happened to be home on leave from the Army and we went out on a few dates. After 2 weeks of only knowing each other, he asked me to marry him. He said he always knew I would be his wife since he first laid eyes on me. So, I said yes as crazy as that is. But, I am so glad I did! He accepted Meg as his own baby girl and spoiled her. We have 3 beautiful children. Meggan, (just turned 17!) Brian~13, & Joshua, 9. They are the greatest blessings in life and also the hardest job in the world! I believe my greatest gift is being compassionate & being loving towards others. I have a HUGE heart for people. I put myself in other people's shoes. I love to help them & offer advice or a listening ear. I don't judge anyone. I myself am no saint.
