Then the stripped down funk/rock of Philadlephia-based SOLID is what you’re looking for.

The power trio, SOLID, provides bass-driven funk riffs under sinister, tongue-in-cheek lyrics.

SOLID’s singin’ and dancin’ anthems tap the mojo of Sly Stone while Rick James, Morris Day and Prince inspire SOLID’s tone, attitude and pervasive innuendo and humor.

The ensuing jams showcase both the classic and contemporary influences of SOLID’s members:
- guitarist Claymation - Jimi Hendrix and Jeff Beck
- bassist Maute - Victor Wooten and Larry Graham
- drummer Mikotic - Carter Beauford and Dennis Chambers

SOLID doles out it’s fun-lovin’ meaty grooves in and around the Philadelphia and Lancaster areas in the hopes of meeting like-minded fans of bare-knuckled funk/rock.
