Solid PR was formed in August of 2002 by Derek Meier (who previously worked at Girlie Action Media and was acting publicist for bands such as Spoon, The Faint, Le Tigre, AFI and more). Since the company’s inception, Solid PR has gone on to work successful campaigns for artists such as The Unicorns, Man Man, Kaiju Big Battel, Oxford Collapse, Fucked Up, Torche, Thursday, Jesu, Russian Circles, and countless others. Currently, publicists Chris Pacifico and Gillian Stoll have rounded out the company’s staff of all-star publicists.
