Wilhelm grew up playing music in church since he could walk, Jay grew up with Wilhelm teaching each other anything they learn and Bud is a wild child from Cali. Josh Redman who just made his return to the band after a year split combines his agressive hard rock drumming to the bands blues/classic rock sound. Josh is also in another band that is currently taking a break due to education and job related issues, but shall return soon..........Redman: "If you want to hear some good tunes and have a few drinks, this is the band to see!" We are a combination of styles with a semi-hardcore sound, along with solid original chords and beat. Background and influences come from progrock, modernrock, and country. With enough intensity to make anyone stop and listen. Distant View will leave you with a sound not easily forgotten and anything is bound to happen on stage!

Hey Joshua! It has been awhile man! I thought you disappeared and shit! Well, I listened to the song "Lovelight" and I really do like it. It has a nice easy going sound. Did you write the lyrics or someone else or is it a combination of people? Just trying to figure out how this band thing works, lol. It's awesome you're still jammin and kickin it! I still remember you at Monticello singing Ac/Dc's Shook Me All Night while we walked back to the classroom from lunch, lol!
