Sol Knopf is a singer/songwriter from Smyrna,DE with a soulful voice and a passion for writing music. His music is an adult contemporary blend of Rock, Pop and Americana.
Sol started performing full time at the age of 20 and played guitar and piano while also fronting numerous groups. In 1990 he flirted with a short but exciting record contract with Atlantic Records while working with regionally popular Mike Hines and The Look.
Most of Sol's career he has performed solo... while developing his songwriting skills. Sol gives his friend and mentor Doug James (best known for co-writing "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You" with Michael Bolton...BMI Song of the Year 1990) much credit for helping to improve his Lyric writing.
