So my first real influence in music was Vanessa Mae. Her technique is amazing and how she gets around the stage in the heals she wears I will never know! When I began flute, I didn't really have any influences, but know as I get better at it and listen to more music, James Galway is a big influence on my playing. Hi, I'm Jess and I have been playing flute since I was 8. I love my flute and the one I play today is the one I began with. I am saving up for a new flute now. (what a great way to start my bio!),
What to say, I am in my 2nd year at Colchester Institute studying towards a degree in music! (funny that!)
I set myself a challenge at the end of last year. That I would begin doing solo concerts and getting a name for myself!
I heard that MySpace is a good place to begin with advertising... so here I am!
I will get some recordings on here soon, and more pictures!
And the all important gig calander!
