05/04/2007 - Good news! Voting has closed for the final slot on the bill at The Minifest.
Meaning the confirmed line-up for the night will be Our Cold City, Lost On Landing, Last Letter Read, Furisode, Humungous Douglas, Solrun and headliners Not Advised. Click on the bands links below and check em' out. It promises to be an awesome show.
Yes ladies and gentlemen this IS battle of the bands. However those clever bastrards have set up the voting in such a way as to not make it simple popularity contest as is typical of these kind of shows. (we like) The voting will be split 60% Judges and 40% audience on the night. WE need YOU to make this thing happen for us.
It's simple.
You turn up on the night.
You vote for us.
We open Manifest at The Guildhall.
Job done.
Check out the link below for more info in the event.
Ticks are £5. No excuses.

01/04/2007 - Solrun have been out of action for far too long now. Our Last show early last November with Amplifier at The Joiners saw the departure of bassist Rick Turner and since then progress for us had been slow. After auditioning several potential candidates to take his place, we decided that an additional member would only complicate things. Vocalist Kelvin Jenkins will now be providing both Vocals and Bass for Solrun.
Since then we have been in the studio working on the next release which should be out and about in the public domain by the end of the summer. Keep you're eyes peeled for updates.

07/05/2006 - Welcome to the Solrun Myspace. Formed in late 2002 under the name 'Seven Days at Knifepoint' Solrun picks up from where our sound left off and yet, we hope to come across a little deeper, a little more experimental and expressive.
Basically, we're just getting old, tired and pretentious now;)
We're always happy to talk so don't hesitate, leave a message, or mail us at solrun.music@googlemail.com.
