Bowman started a band back in 91 named To Each His Own . started booking shows around town , thought the band was going to last forever and got the bands named tattoo'd on his arm . the band broke up 2 weeks later . highschool kinda sucked but 2 bands were born that fatefully Jingle Bell Rock night . the now in - famous Pezz and Soluble Fish .
Soluble Fish was different for the times. Blending catchy as all hell music w/humorous lyrics and pretty decent harmonies. Most songs were about high days, pet dogs named Jim , doing drugs, relationships, and eggs and soccer. The band featured Ian Dsa on guitar and vocals, Christian Kenerney on bass and vocals, bowman on lead vocal and Joey Proulx (Tung Hunny/Jerkbank/Stereo Drive By) on drums. Notable mention: Jason Rooney on drums and Collin Akoon on guitar. They recorded a 6 song demo entitled Nugget Sauces and played all over southern Ontario. Ian was also playing in Pezz and Christian started up Snapper/Shifty which eventually ended this historical and influential music force . These two bands (Pezz and Soluble) single handedly started up (no but seriously, cuz there wasnt one @ the time) the Mississauga/Streetsville music scene by putting on a series of independent showcases featuring themselves and an array of other local acts. W/the help of his close friends and band mates, 10 years later, the scene" is striving today .
To celibrate their 10 year anniversary the boys have gotten back together and re released the 1995 Nugget Sauces ep . Its been re mastered and can be
