Live musica, african drums, guittarras, hand cymbals, electronica, soul, drum and bass, jazz, afro-latin/cuban, the real hip hop, rock, hard rock, 80's, prince and madonna 4 eva. Sol Vida loves the musics from everywhere--and can find the dance in just about any kind of music, including some solid two-stepping music, country style, that is.

About me: Sol Vida Dance Theatre is devoted to fusing international dance forms and dedicated to preserving ancient dance traditions, while cultivating new forms of expression in the performing arts. We love exploring and blending Modern, African, Hip Hop, Ballet,Latin and anything else that insprires us along the way! Sol Vida is passionate about enhancing progressive dance communities, communal based dance experiences, in addition to youth empowerment and advocacy. I'm playing at Hi-Dive on Wed Jan 21st with a San Diego band called The Donkeys. I am from San Diego so I have seen their badness in action. They also double as being Casiotone For The Painfully Alone's band.
The Build Up is playing too. They are a new Denver indie rock band to be pumped about.
