Solvi s a four-piece original hard rock band based out of Nashville, TN. The group is currently writing new material, has started production on a new full-length independent album, and recently headed into the studio with veteran producer/engineer Michael Wagener early in 2008. In the past year and a half Solvi has played more than 150 shows throughout 20 states including opening for Def Leppard and Journey in front of 17000 people and opening for P.O.D. in front of 20000 people, received great reviews from publications throughout Europe and the Americas, had their first EP ranked as one of the Top Ten Independent Releases by Canadian Magazine Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles, and was a semi-finalist in the Independent Music World Series sponsored by Billboard Magazine. Solvi is currently taking their refreshing sound to the mid-west and southeast regions of the US, drawing crowds and comparisons to Queens of the Stone Age, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden and Tool.
