I collect dead dolls and macabre things relating to dolls and toys. I seem to be addicted to them...especially nun dolls. Also clocks, I have about 15 in one of my bathrooms.
Why do I collect dead dolls--blame on my Catholic upbringing...my fave dead dolls are Bastet2329's bloody nuns! Does that mean I have neighborhood children buried in my back yard. Ah, no. I think dolls are just naturally scary...taken out of context and left to the wild imagination of the depraved! This does not mean I dig up dead bodies either. Actually, I hate getting dirty -- but that's a whole different story...
Music, gore, movies.....and more music. Black leather/vinyl/rubber....make up...industrial anything... ...dead baby dolls...decadent art...headless Barbie dolls...scaring ppl...Loganberry crepes from IHop... making new friends...the buzz of a chainsaw...all animals...red licorice...watching people... I also have a strong, strange addiction for anything to do with LEATHERFACE.

Been buying a lot of art during these winter months and my house is just the way I want it.
Seems I've been on here more than VF...not sure why that is. I've also been on ZombieFriends, but it sucks being new -- not a lot of friends. One of my fave pastimes is watching a movie or tv and strolling the web.
Just got back from Chicago and am looking forward to vegging out for the next few weeks. Summer is rushing past an I haven't been able to enjoy it yet....sucks. And, yes, I WILL be going to see MAMMA MIA! and I WILL sing along!!!
If ask for you to be friends it's because I think you're interesting...as much as I'd like to, I can't communicate regularly w/ all my friends (yes, there's a life outside myspace!), but I will try to keep in touch. Dead Dolly Productions was formed in 2004, with the first show in my basement. We moved to a local VFW hall and have since settled at Milwaukee's Miramar Theatre, around the corner from Atomic Records. It's got a great sound system and dates back to the 1930's. I started these shows by way of vampirefreaks.com, which I am still fond of. Branched out to myspace to reach more people. I love music and my main goal is to bring different styles (course only the styles I like) to everyone.
We do all ages shows - 21+ to drink, featuring unsigned local bands. Ususally shows have a mix of more well known bands from the Midwest and lesser known high school/college bands. And we like to feature other forms of art...more recently body suspension.

I'm always looking for performance artists, bands, spoken word -- whatever. We cater mainly to the gothic/industrial/punk/metal/glam scene. Shows are a blend of these genres. And horror is always the theme.
About me, DDP'S creator: Been there, done that. Began with Ziggy Stardust....pogoed with the Ramones, spit with the Pistols, throbbed in the BAT CAVE, you get the idea. Babble, babble, bitch, bitch. Was lucky enough to see a lot of shows all over the US and in London. Best shows??? Definately Iggy Pop, in Milwaukee at the Oriental Theater, when Bowie was backing him up ..boards and Blondie opening. Also, The Cramps...every show was perfect and few were missed. Also, shows worth mentioning were The Damned, The Cult, Neubauten, Sex Gang Children and The Sisters of Mercy.
It seems I'm misunderstood by some of the kiddies on here; they mistakenly think I'm trying to recapture my youth or something. lol That couldn't be farther from the truth. I wouldn't want to be a kiddie again...too many rules!
I just like what I like and have always been a little out of the mix. I do not pretend to be anything other than what I am, and if you have a problem with that, stop reading here and leave. My mum raised me on Edgar Allan Poe horror flicks; she was a bit different and I miss her terribly.
Klub Korpse shows were started for a few reasons: the first being an absolute love for the music and the gore. The second, having a teenage daughter and seeing her having no place to go except the Rave and her friend's bands having no place to play except smelly basements.
Thanks to the friends/freaks that help and support KK and who work the shows for free! Thanks to my daughter, KD, who's the best kid anyone could ask for. And trust me, I put her thru a lot of shit. But, tis better to have an insane mum than some hypocritical Christian bitch!
