Soma was a ritual drink of importance among the early Indo Chinese, and the later Vedic and greater Persian cultures. It is frequently mentioned in the Rig-Veda, which contains many hymns praising its energizing qualities. By drinking Soma one wanders into spiritual state of mind closer to the gods and reality.
Somadelic is Jeremy. He was born in the US (Tennessee), grew up in Belgium and now lives in Cologne, Germany. He was infected with the “Psytrance virus” when he was 15, when he was taken to his first psytrance party by some friends in Belgium. He quickly became fascinated by the complex sound atmosphere, the kicking and rolling basslines and especially the people.
Just going to parties wasn’t enough though. Influenced by his musical background which were various styles of Metal, followed by Hardtek and Frenchcore on the electronic side of music, it is clear that he became addicted to the more powerful and darker side of psytrance. Wanting to actively take part in the scene and to satisfy his thirst in music he started Djing, mixing Mind-blowing and powerful, deep, dark and twisted psychedelic trance. Although Djing is still his main focus, Somadelic started producing his own dark and twisted sounds to express his own inner madness.

Hello all, this will be our final release of 2009, and a great way to end the year... Pinklogik asked 10 artists and friends to remix her entire "Learning To Trust Higher Frequencies" album and what an eclectic and stunningly produced work this is. Each track has its own feel, thanks to the diverse range of artists involved in the project. A shimmering journey through ambient colours, broken beats, sweet melodies, a little bit of quantum physics, and is one hell of a trip....

[S27-030] MIN-Y-LLAN : Dark Days (Downtempo, Ambient)
We are fast approaching the last days of 2009, so what better way to celebrate than this release from Welshman "Min-Y-Llan" who offers us this collection of atmospheric ambient pieces, the melodies within are dark and cavernous, being the perfect listening for the walk home on a frozen winters evening. Each track has a very melancholic feel as if looking towards a future that isn't as bright as we hope for, but nevertheless are powerless to escape. Free download!
South African Corona, whose second album is getting ready to be launched on Solar Tech very soon, and his compatriot Chabunk teamed for a Sunset Safari. As this term implies, it is an beautiful but also an adventurous tour that awaits the listeners. On the contrary of cheesy standard melodies, these varied tracks put the idea of Trance in a nutshell and distinguish themselves by forcing power and deepness. While most of them represent the creativity of South Africa, also material from Brazil, Chile, the UK and Germany is included.
