Everything you need to know about me:

** i was born on may 16, 1983 in denver, CO. in the middle of a snow storm. while michale jackson was doing the moonwalk for the first time. wich is actually my brothers favorite piece of trivia.

** i've lived in denver, CO, grand junction CO, anchorage, AK, and valencia, CA. we moved around a lot when i was little because my dad worked for arco. soon after we moved to cali my dad took an early retirement and opened a sign busienss. now after 13 years my parents are moving to new jersey to be closer to their grandkids, but im staying here in an apartment in north hollywood with the famous kelly balk.

** i went to valencia high school. it was a fairly good experience, much better than junior high... i did drama, yearbook, you know, all the dork stuff, but i swear it was cooler than it sounds. i did mainly props in drama (PROP TARTS!), but im not sure exactly what i did my senior year, i think i kind of blocked a lot of that out. in yearbook i was computer editor, which was a ton of thankless work, but for the most part it was a good time.

** then it was off to centenary college in hackettstown new jersey. quite literally the best years of my life - as of yet. i graduated in may '05 with a bs in equine studies with a concentration in business management and instruction and training. i was a co-captain for the school's IHSA team which as been 1st in the region since forever ago. i made the most amazing friends and had fabulous roomates.

** i came back to california july '05 to work for a h/j trainer in sylmar. i began there working with my former captain buddy from centenary, schwiegier, who ended up leaving early this year and began working at a barn in moorpark. it was sad to see her go, but now we can be real friends again, so i'm down. i have a crazy boss, mark-o, who i enjoy generally, but i also enjoy that he goes away to horse shows a lot... no, but seriously, we have fun. we work hard, but it's going well, im learning a lot and love the ponies and (most) of the clients ;)

** i have a grape flavor aversion. my mom gave me cough syrup when i was little and told me it tasted like grapes. well it didn't taste like grapes, it tasted like the grape flavoring they put in candy only worse, it was horrible. So now i don't eat grape candy, drink grape soda, even no grape alcoholic beverages (thats how you know it's serious).

** i love movies and music. and i especially love buying dvds and cds. it's kind of an addiction, that would work better for me if i actually made a considerable salary. oh well.

** i choose my words very carefully, along the vein of 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all'. only i don't usually think of saying not nice things, so i guess its more 'if you don't mean it, and or it's not important, and or it makes you sould like an asshole, don't say anything at all'. this coupled with my general predisposition to be anti-social (at least at first), make me seem quiet upon first meeting. which incidentally is one of my least favorite things that i hear most often - 'you're so quiet...' cool thanks.
