"SOMAR" (pronounced Summer) is an original rock and roll band from Seattle, WA fronted by the amazing Somar Macek. If your looking for over-produced pop tunes, synthetic studio instruments, effect laden vocals, or electronic drums, you won't find them here. What you will find is a straight forward, hard rockin' band, backing up the best female rock singer to come around in years. SOMAR is in the studio working on their debut CD that should be available in January 2010. I "LOVED" your vocal performance with the Heart songs at "Play It Forward" last Sunday night. You were "incredible" - It was really like being at a Heart concert and the crowd was all really enjoying your performance with your bandmates and with the 3 original Heart musicians. I am glad to know you and I am really happy to see a woman like yourself really "rock the socks" off of people like you do. I will post some pics soon. It was a real treat to have you perform there. I had no idea you were going to be singing!
