Are

Is God first in your life? Do you love Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and
strength? Have you ever lied, stolen, hated, or dishonored your parents? Have
you looked with lust and therefore committed adultery in your heart? If you have
broken just one of these laws, then you have sinned against God.
The
Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” The penalty of
sin is death and eternal torment in hell. The good news is that God provided a
way out. Jesus Christ took your punishment when he suffered under God’s wrath
and died on the cross. He defeated death by rising from the dead. God now commands
you to repent (turn from your sins) and trust in Him alone to save you. Nothing
you can do can please God. No amount of good works will get you to heaven. Repent
and trust in Him today. You may not have tomorrow! Read the Bible daily and obey
what you read.

About me: First and foremost, I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ. I was brought up in a Christian family. As most do, I strayed some but God always took care of me and I found my way back to Him.
I had heard all my life, that Jesus would be coming back soon. I always pushed it off because people had been saying it for so long. I didn't WANT Him to come back in my lifetime, truth be told. I wanted to grow old with my husband, have a family, watch my grandkids grow up. Life can change in just a second though. When my husband went to Heaven after a battle of cancer, I started doing some research into prophecy on my own. I was shocked at what I found. There are so many signs that this is the end times we live in. Some of the signs are: wars and rumors of wars | famines/earthquakes | lawlessness abounds | love of others grows cold | false preachers | failing economy, just to name a few.
What is the rapture? The Bible tell us:
For the Lord himself will come down from Heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 1 Thess 4:16-17

A MAN WENT UP TO JESUS AND SAID, LORD MY CROSS IS TOO BIG. CAN YOU GIVE ME ANOTHER ONE? jESUS SAID WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE ONE YOU HAVE?
IT'S TOO BIG AND HEAVY. I CAN'T CARRY IT. ALRIGHT, SIAD THE LORD. LET'S GO INTO THIS ROOM AND LOOK FOR ANOTHER. SO THE MAN GAVE JESUS HIS CROSS AND WENT INTO THE ROOM TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER, SMALLER ONE. HE GOES IN AND SEES ROWS UPON ROWS UPON ROWS UPON ROWS OF CROSSES. ALL SORTS OF DIFFERENT SIZES. HE NEVER SAW SO MANY BEFORE. HE WALKS UP AND DOWN AISLE AFTER AISLE AND DOESN'T SEE ONE HE CAN CARRY. THEY ARE ALL MUCH BIGGER THAN THE ONE HE HAD.
HE FINALLY SEES ONE HE THINKS HE CAN CARRY. I'LL TAKE THIS ONE HE SAYS. THE LORD SAID, THAT IS THE VERY SAME ONE YOU JUST GAVE ME.
THE LORD WON'T GIVE YOU SOMETHING YOU CAN'T HANDLE.

A Prayer of Remembrance God the compassionate one, whose loving care extends to all the world:
We remember this day your children of many nations and many faiths whose lives were cut short by the fierce flames of anger and hatred.
Console those who continue to suffer and grieve, and give them comfort and hope as they look to the future. Out of what we have endured give us the grace to examine our relationships with those who perceive us as the enemy, and show our leaders the way to use our power to serve the good of all for the healing of the nations.
This we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord who, in reconciling love, was lifted up from the earth that he might draw all things to himself.
Amen. Prayer for Those in the Armed Services::O God of Mercy, we beg You now to protect in a special way those who are fighting for us and for the country we love. Bless them and take care of them. If they are tired, give them strength. If they are wounded and suffering, give them comfort. If they are lonely, touch them with Your gentle hand and let them know that You are near them.
