Someday Heaven longs to bring people to the heart of worship and into the presence of Jesus Christ. They pray that as people come in contact with Christ’s majestic love, grace and mercy that, as individuals, they will be drawn to a deeper relationship with the Creator and that this deeper relationship with Christ will result in a life full of purity and holiness.
Someday Heaven is a praise and worship band that began through a local student ministry in Oneonta, Alabama by Nicholas Longshore (lead vocalist) in late 1998. The present members of Someday Heaven are as follows: Nicholas Longshore (lead vocals), Brandi Longshore (keyboard), Andy Good (lead guitar), Stevo Green (Bass), and T.J. Bennett (drums).

For the past 9 years, Someday Heaven has had the privilege of leading worship for various events such as Disciple Now weekends, student youth rallies, youth camps, church retreats, singles retreats, as well as traveling throughout the Southern United States. In July 2006 Someday Heaven was lead by God to help plant LifePoint Church in their hometown of Albertville, Alabama. Since the beginning of this church plant countless have come to know Christ as their Savior. Someday Heaven’s present focus is leading worship there on a regular basis. They feel that their most important mission field is in their very own neighborhood and that God has called them to not only reach the world with the message of Christ but to also reach the lost and hurting of their very own community.
Someday Heaven’s prayer, as they continue in their ministry, is that they will not be known as a “another band” but rather missionaries and ministers who are aliens on this earth. That people will not even remember them but the message of Christ.
