The beginnings of SOME KINDA JONES can be traced back to the Spring of 2005, when Bobby C and P.Aaron tapped Brian (bsf) to form a group. When Seth joined on drums, the band took it to another level. Mr.Leland served proud, as well: His exit ushering in Number 2 on keyboards.
SKJ have played all around Metro Detroit and beyond. They perform at numerous bars and clubs and have performed at Comerica Park during Tiger baseball games, as well as city sponsored events and private functions.
In 2008, SKJ were chosen as one of the Top Ten Cover Bands in Detroit by Doug FM.
Their mission statement: Keep the people on their feet, drinks in hand and "everyone closes the joint". Come see...
