Some Old Guise came into being in December 2009 after the geezers - who had never previously met - all answered an advert to appear at a 'Get Rocking' bash in Guildford. The event was promoted by Andertons and was designed for musicians who used to play in a band (but stuff like kids and mortages subsequently got in the way) and were looking for a way back in. With the band formed we started rehearsing once a week at Silent Hill Studios in Guilford. In Feb 2010 the band played their first gig as a unit at The Boileroom in Guilford and closed the bill with a rousing 6 song set ending with a fast 'n furious version of Won't Get Fooled Again (see vids!!). We are delighted to announce that we have a superb new vocalist in Richard Lee. Rich joined the band in August 2010. The final change to the line-up was the appearance of Craig Radford, son of Some Old Guises' bassist on lead guitar. and with the line-up now complete the band are currently rehearsing the arse out of a brand new set . We have gigs lined up for Autumn/Winter 2011/ the start of 2012 and and are looking for more so please get in touch!
