Sounds Like
Progressive Rock marinated in Avant-Garde and Jazz Fusion sauce, then sprinkled with pretty sounds.
Hi there. We are the almighty and fabled Something About Horses. We come from a variety of lands where we lived off the livestock the countryside provided. When we could no longer provide bread for our young, we decided to listen to Rock music and learn how to play instruments. When this got boring, we went to music school, leaving our families and ways of lives behind, and started listening to Avant-Garde Classical and Jazz. It was then, we realized we needed to save the world with our music. After a few shows, we realized that would be hard. So, now we just like to make our audiences feel uncomfortable with a show that involves the audience in the compositional process, and frightens them. But we say DO NOT be afraid of our funny costumes, and almighty demeanor, we are but shepherds who once lived off the land. Come on out for an all encompassing experience that will make you our friend even if the music is offensive to your ears.
"Something About Horses is a young composition group coming out of southeastern Massachusetts. This group of young go-getters are combining all the aspects of the music they love into one freak show of sound. Taking everything from Avant-Garde to Jazz, as well as adding in some good ol' fashioned Rock n' Roll, they are emerging onto the New England music scene with adulterous ambitions. That is, they wish to cheat on the sea of shitty music plaguing society lately by producing something that is far worse. Add onto all that a sense of humor that is riddled with dick jokes. Something About Horses hopes to frighten, and offend you sonically."
