we make gigs in london which will make your ears itch in wonderment. cos that's what we do best. y'know when you say 'ooh there's something in my ear'? yeah that will be us. and it will be so beautiful you will want us to nest there forever. and if you let us, by God, we will.
we are always on the lookout for exciting bands to make said beautiful earfuls of something, and happening venues in which these experiences can take place.
if you would like to contact us (whether you are a musician, venue promoter, photographer, reviewer, or just plain interested, whatever...) please do. like we mentioned earlier, we are nice people. not stupidly nice, like sickly nice, but nice enough to want to hear from you. the fact that you may have (probably) read this far means that we already want to be your friend.
and you can also find and contact us on facebook, if you're that way inclined. so for more info, updates and invites to the sweetest earfuls of something, seek us and join up here
we'd also like to introduce our resident DJs Atrocity Exhibition who are in fact two stylish boys with independent bodies and minds, but unite to become one in all their DJing splendour. they play the best post-punk/post-post-punk/electroclash/other, and are set to be supermassive. good hair, good tunes...that's how they roll.
this year (2008) we've held nights at various venues...the oh-so prestigious london Luminaire, the Cross Kings, the Deptford Arms...with a host of wonderful artists...Kaputt, Westcott & Rodway, Last Days of Lorca, Murder In Monochrome, UNiTY & DEViSiON, King Of Conspiracy, Tall Stories, The Stowaways (formerly Operators), Rubella, Ethatone...who've all been brilliant. look at that! i mean it's not long ago since we'd hatched from our little egg.
some of our (really!) superb photographs have been taken by Jordan Mary, you can have a peek at some of his work and contact him through redastronautphotography.com
we've held some of our gigs as part of the Oxjam nationwide music festival, with profits going to oxfam. it's a great cause so check out what they're all about here and here's one we made a long while back. it was called Oxjam @ The Miller, with the superb My Luminaries, Hot Rocket and Quixote (formerly Rebel Jane) (here's the myspace page... http://www.myspace.com/oxjamatthemiller) because we are nice people. not just a pretty face. etc.
