Something Must Break: Volume One is a compilation cd featuring 17 songs by 13 different bands and solo artists from around the world.

the Real California are from Ashland, Ohio.
The Grand Opening are from Stockholm, Sweden.
Douglas Deluca is from Hot Springs, Arkansas.
the Border States are from Hoboken, New Jersey.
Ten Year Drought are from Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Gardin are from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Johnny West is from Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Seth Howard is from Seattle, Washington.
the Mineral Tap are from Phoenix, Arizona and is a side project of Soul Whirling Somewhere.
Alex Niedt is from Kansas City, Missouri.
Minor Ache are from Sydney, Australia.
Everyday are from Saint Cloud, Minnesota.

How did all of this music from so many different places end up on one compilation?

IDAHO. Not the state, but the band, which happens to be from Los Angeles, California, and is led by Jeff Martin, who also appears on this release with the exclusive "Live Today", which is an earlier, alternate version to "Live Today Again" which is found on IDAHO's latest release,"The Lone Gunman".

All of the bands and artists featured here have been influenced by IDAHO's music and were compiled for this release by Something Must Break founder, and IDAHO fan/archivist, Brian Carter, to help bring attention to this heartfelt and sincere music being produced by releasing it in the same way that Brian first discovered IDAHO, on a compilation by Caroline Records in 1993.

Hey Brian,

All is well. I'm working on new material and I hope to release the debut CD later this year on a Swedish label. Most of it is already recorded. I've been listening to the comp quite a lot. It's good! I like most of the songs.

Keep it up!
