4 Lads currently based in the village of Llanrug, near Caernarfon, North Wales that love to rock n roll.......We do it because we love to and because we can!!!
Formed originally in '97 and since reformed with a new line-up, the band's music is a breath of fresh air to the UK music scene and afar.
" Many have tried, many have failed, but Something Personal do possess certain qualities that may bode them well on the road ahead. Charisma by the bucketful, the energy of a Force 10 and sheer rock'n'roll puts them on a higher plain already!! " - Neil Crud - Link2Wales

Hey, we just got this new widget. It's kinda like a mini profile, it has tracks, video, news etc. If you grab it from our profile page you can add your other fave bands to it and have them all in one place.
optimistic? pish. you'll win. you deserve to anyway. sing with welsh intent (and a welsh accent for certain!) and you'll be ok. Accents offer character and that brings success - look at the arctic monkeys. You'll do well and we'll all be chuffed that we can say 'we were there' before it all took off for the big time :o) I'll leave some comments on youtube for sure, my name's different mind. I just wish I'd have been there. I resolve that next time you have a bus trip to a gig in manchester I shall come, all be it on my own and with an abysmal ability for speaking welsh. It'll be practise lol :o) I am pretty ok, myself, mainly spending my time encouraging myself to work (I spent last weekend "reconstructing" the last galcier to occupy the Snowdon horseshoe - 10,000 years ago!), plaing banjo, playing guitar (especially gillian welch songs), knitting (wierdly enough), and watching rather a lot of bond movies. Also, of course, in true student style, I've been getting pretty pissed on cheep wine and the like. so all's good ye :o) I do wish you'd play down here again, but I do fear a similarly poorly advertised gig as last time. I guess it's sod's law. Still, I see you're playing bangor over easter so I may pop along there if I'm around and can make it.
Looking forward to hearing the english album (and learning enough welsh to get to grips with the welsh one!).
