Sometimes Nothing was first formed in 2001 as a typical four piece rock band. Like most bands, we started with minimal equipment and experience. We were very naive and vulnerable to the ways of the underground music scene. I guess you could say that we learned the hard way in many ways about many different things. We played the Houston club scene for awhile until our progress was halted by a couple of jackasses that thought they needed our equipment more than we did. That's right. What had taken us years to accumulate, had been very selfishly stolen overnight from our rehearsal studio. We tried to recover, but this task proved to be unsuccessful. Over the past couple of years, a couple former members would get together for writing sessions here and there and realized that the musical chemistry that once existed still remained, but in a new form of creativity. However, not all of the former members of "Sometimes Nothing" felt compelled to rejoin. The new lineup consists of a new drummer Jason Myers, who has proven to be the missing link in this rusty chain, Jimmy Surrey, Matt Goodman, and Patrick Hopson. We plan to deliver as always for our old fans, and look forward to meeting our new ones. It's great to be back!!!!!!!!
