Somewhere in the dark is a new musical fable that brings to life the spellbinding tale of a 17th century Irish Robin Hood named, Owen MacCarthy. As the Curtain Rises, audiences are wisked away to the blue mountains of Kerry and amid the mournful wail of the pipes, the story begins to unfold.
A musical score, as fresh and wildly exciting as the Irish countryside itself, weaves a path through mystery, romance, triumph and tragedy. Melodies ranging from foot stomping jigs to lilting ballads that tug at the heartstrings carry listeners to another time and place.
