asked: "My child, what is your greatest wish for today?" I responded:
"Please, take care of the person who is reading this message, their
family and their special friends. They deserve it and I love them very
much" The love of God is like the ocean, you can see its beginning, but
not its end. This message works on the day you receive it. Let us see
if it is true. ANGELS EXIST but sometimes, since they don't all have
wings, we call them TRUE FRIENDS. Pass this on to your true friends.
Something good will happen to you at 11:11 in the evening; something
that you have been waiting to hear. Do not break this prayer; send it
to a minimum of 11 people including me!!!!""

that is is hard, I SO empathize. Did you lose both parents? Being an orphan is FAR more difficult than anyone can know unless you are one (I am).
Its okay that it;s baby steps. Thats a heck of a lot of trauma you've been thru.
Also, in regards to something you said on one of the blogs, 'being strong' is over-rated, sometimes we need to just cry and be hugged (not quoting) Okay, I know I am the oddball, but hun, if you read back in my statuses and blogs it drives me bzonkers that strong=not feeling and putting on a plastic smile while burying things and dying of a heart attack at 50 (sorry for the example, but if the shoe fits..)
Personally I think it takes INFINITELY more strength and courage to feel the emotions and work through them instead of trying to pretend like nothing happened and going thru life being what I call the walking dead. Or the Stepford people. Anyway. that's my take on it...
Much love,
Jo

I see you're around my age too. Is it the mortality ting for you almost as much as losing your family?
Jimmy was only 50. Were you close with your family? Gosh you've been through A LOT. I'm glad you found us here and you're NOT alone although I imagine it must feel that way sometimes.
Much love and support,
Jo
