Worthstock Music Festival 2008 is almost here! Friday 1st August, Saturday 2nd August and Sunday 3rd August will see over 90 bands perform on 3 varied stages. With stalls, entertainment, licensed bar, cider tent and overnight camping; it's going to be a weekend by the river to remember!
Tickets are still available priced at £30 for the whole weekend (including camping)! Weekend tickets can be purchased from the Musicians Centre's in Keighley, Bradford and Hebden Bridge and HERE ONLINE. (Ticket prices will be more on the door, day tickets can only be purchased online)
Feel free to download our poster and spread it around the interweb. Particularly adventurous people can print it out and leave it somewhere for others to see. Like sharing a bag of awesome sweets!
what? the folk! gets under way at Odd Bar in the northern quarter on sunday 11th May then each first sunday of the month thereafter. From 8pm, Entry is FREE so get there early. jambone x
Solid Earth and what? the folk present: beats, roots and leaves, an eight hour charity session of musical goodness at Manchester’s best pub in nearly the countryside: Jackson’s Boat in Sale Water Park. All proceeds to MSF in Darfur.
what? the folk! are chuffed to host the launch of Dr Butlers Hatstand Medicine Bands album 'Music for Parlours & Promenades' next Wednesday at the deaf institue. Special guests and surprise performaces from 8pm til late with record playing by Chris Long in between and after sets. No need to message back for cheap list cos it's FREE ENTRY, bless! x

I never get any presents, the mezuzah is there on the door I’d buy them myself but I can’t do, being Jewish I’m ever so poor (Yes I am; such a shame) I used to decorate a fir tree, hoped to find lotsa presents below But every year cost a fortune, to replace all the bulbs that had blown (Yes they do; and the fuse)
I hate eating sprouts and turkey, I prefer chicken soup for me; and Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels, ‘cos bacon’s not kosher you see (No it’s not; it’s a pig) One year I went to the Canaries, had lunch in 110 I said I would do this every Xmas, but I never did do it again (Don’t know why; just wanna cry; Boo Hoo Hoo)
So what’s all the fuss every Xmas, with Carols and food booze and pop It’s supposed to be all about Jesus, he’s just a Jew who made it to the top
