AN ACCIDENT ON VINYL.
Songo Bongo writes nursery rhymes for modern times. This vinyl 45 only collaboration features the experimental musicianship of two old friends Christopher Hoffee and Frank Lee Drennen.
And it all started as an accident...literally.
As Frank Lee relates, "We were working on a completely different band, making a record and trying to work a particularly troublesome song. We kept recording over the tracks trying to hunt this piece down...Until we realized that none of the original song remained, but this other creation was left in it's place! Nothing like the record we were working on, so what could we do? We just named the new track 'Little Outfit (Forget Me Not)', and gave birth to this thing we call Songo Bongo."
