May Ling is a singer/song writer for Bennett Media Studios. She and songwriter/producer Ed Bennett collaborate to create music to bring social awareness of world issues through music.
In conjunction with the New York Asian Women's Center, "Someday" is being created into a music video to bring awareness to NY area Domestic Violence resources. Along with a team of talented film artists, the music and clips from the video will be featured in a PSA for the center on NY 1 TV.
"The Walls are Closing" was written to commemorate the Sichuan earthquake victims. Our hearts go out to our friends and their families who have been affected by this disaster. Proceeds will go to the Red Cross relief efforts.
"Only an Angel" was inspired by the award winning movie Holly, which brings awareness to the realities of Child Prostitution. Over 2 million children each year are born into this industry. We are interviewing organizations to involved who work to end child exploitation.
"Stories Not Told" is based on the movie New Year Baby a personal story of survivers of the period of Pol Pot in Cambodia.
