Influences
I have been influenced by so many musicians and songwriters along the way - I would imagine that there are reflections of them in my music, scattered about in bits and pieces. There have been other influences too - in the books of great authors, in the words of ancient philosophers, and in the experiences that I have shared with the cast of characters that have come in and out of this play that is my life.
Sounds Like
A heart on the sleeve....
A wife, a lover, a daughter, a mother, a sister, a dreamer, a girl, a woman, a believer, a cynic.....
A cool breeze blowing through a wide open window on a sunny spring day.....
I'm not big on fluffing up feathers and boasting. I'm not really crazy about the idea of having a bio that reads like a magazine article. What I really want to say is that this is me and I'm real. These are the words and the music that come from inside of my heart and my soul. These songs are filled with emotions and thoughts that have touched me deeply - and I hope that in some way, they will touch you too. The stories in my songs may not all be true, but the emotions are real and come from inside. I'm glad that you stopped by to listen. This is my art - done my way - and I'm happy to share it with you.
You are amazingly talented! I love your music-- the words and melodies are deeply emotive... I adore "Love Me or Let Me Go." You have quite a gift, and I hope I get the opportunity to see you play sometime. Would you be interested in sharing a show?
Hey Amy... let go sounds really good. They really did a nice job filling out the arrangement... etc. It's funny how the singer sounds like he's sometimes doing the "male Amy!" hahaha. I guess that's because he must have kept listening to your demo over and over. Good stuff... very pretty. thanks for posting.
