Songs For Eleonor was formed in Mexico City in the last months of 2005, by Karen Ruiz and Andres Almeida, as an act of pure luck and good timing. Since then, they have been producing together through a sincere interaction of taste and sensibility. Joining forces, Karen and Almeida have developed their first cd called Songs For Eleonor and its been released by their Mexican based label DiscosTormento. They have shared stages with bands like Mercury Rev, Ulrich Snauss, Circlesquare and Tujiko Noriko, and have presented their project at Mutek Festival. Right Now they are working on their second album, and are getting ready to play at SXSW.
