Songs For Souls is a charity event created by Kieran Jones. The first one took place in January 2008 at The Britannia Inn in Buckingham, it was an evening of acoustic music with performances by Dan Buckland and Matt Banham of The Swamis, Luke Ford, Duncan Whittaker, Kim Wellens and Kieran himself performed for the first and last time! A great evening was had by all and we raised £926.00 for The Macmillan Cancer Trust. This time the charity is The Stroke Association www.stroke.org.uk The venue is; Buckingham Town Football Club. Ford Meadow, Ford Street, Buckingham, Bucks. MK18 1AG The evening will start at around 5pm with acoustic acts performing in the glorious sunshine (hopefully) with a barbeque. Families welcome. The acoustics acts are - Luke Ford, Duncan Whittaker and an open mic. In the evening we will be moving inside for more live entertainment from - The Swamis, Jono McCleery, The Cantells, True Element and more. Tickets are avaliable in advance priced at £5.00 each and can be collected in person from The Brittannia Inn, Arms of Angels and Buildbase in Buckingham. You can also buy tickets from www.wegottickets.com (£5.00 each plus a small booking fee). We have also produced a CD to sell on the night which contains all the artists performing and some more local talent.
