About Songs From The Blue House
Songs from the Blue House are some people that make music without worrying too much about what sort of music it is. They live in Essex and Suffolk and released stuff on their own label, Blue House Records before joining the stable at the delightful High Barn Records for the new album 'Tree'. You can listen to more clips and buy CDs at their website - www.songsfromthebluehouse.com. Erm......cheers. :-)

This month we have Regina Spektor with the theme to the film Prince Caspian (but don’t let that put you off, it is really rather wonderful), Mermaid Skeletons with a great song that’s worth it for the chorus alone, the Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir, who are as good as their name if not more so and finally the legendary Chip Taylor with the thought-provoking Former American Soldier. Great listening, and if you like the tracks, buy the albums!

H's Aussie mate says we sound like The Waifs. And *her* Aussie mate reckons we remind him of home. P'raps we should organise a tour?

Now, I mean really. Who would ruin such an amazing album by publicly acknowledging an association with me? Yeah, I hope you weren't too attached to credibility :)

I swear I actually dug my toe into the ground, lowered my head and muttered "Aw, shucks," while stifling a girlish giggle.
