"Bloodbird" Harrington has a deeply rooted musical lineage. His grandfather, Harold B. Harrington, taught guitar lessons during the depression and later opened his own music shop. This little music shop later became the highly successful Mississippi Music Inc. His father had an impressive career playing bass/guitar for Mississippi delta blues artists in his younger years and his sister is a classically trained pianist. Growing up in this setting he could have nothing but a strong passion for music. Adam's family members have greatly inspired him to write & perform music.
Bloodbird's musical style is derived from early folk music and classical guitar; you will also find influences of the previous darker music that he has played. He has been in several punk & metal bands through the years, but living in an apartment in the city has forced him to start playing a more mellow music.
Most recently, Kenny Mann & Robbie Powell have joined Adam on his efforts. Kenny has played bass in several bands through the years, including 'Famine' which was one of the first Death metal bands Hattiesburg, Ms had to offer. In the last few years he has focused more on the sound production side of things, but has slowly evolved his own solo project called 'The Sea, my Solace'. Robbie, on the other hand, has been quite the busy practicing drummer. He has performed with many well known Mississippi artists such as 'Melvin "House Cat" Hendrex' and 'Equinox'. Together, the three hope to create a memorable sound that can't be lumped into any certain musical genre and just maybe, have a great time in the process.
