    A true born and raised Texas gal (born in Austin, raised around Fort Worth), Sunshine Emery is an up and coming musician/songwriter in the DFW area. She performs a long list of rockin' country blues cover songs as well as her original works of the same genre. She often hosts open jams and welcomes local musicians to play with her on stage. She can be found several nights of the week playing in bars and at events around DFW - solo, duet, trio, or full band! In addition to playing music for a living, Sunshine donates her talents to many charitable events. Such events include the "Singing with a Vision" radio show benefitting the "A Hole in My Heart" Foundation which was broadcasted on 95.9 The Ranch, Cook Children's Hospital, Texas Crawfish Party and Music Jam benefitting the Texas Musicians Museum, and fundraising functions at various local schools and non-for-profit organizations. As the initiation of all musicians must go, Sunshine started out playing small coffee shops many times as a solo cover artist. As the years have gone by and she became a familiar sound, Sunshine has collected many local talented musicians to play with her on a regular basis - they appreciate her originals as well as the songs they cover. The Sunshine Emery Band members usually include guitarist/songwriter/vocalist Dennis Coble, Jim Ray on his upright bass, and newcomer Louie Keene on drums. Sunshine has produced one CD of her original works titled Tempation Road (thanks to Dennis Coble and Glenn Milam) and is currently working on a second CD (thanks to Dennis Coble). Look for CD #2 this Fall.
