Kit has worked as a professional musician and singer since the age of 13. She's worked in studios and on stages with a multitude of bands and solo artists in an amazing variety of genres. In 2001, she turned her focus toward songwriting. In 2004, she entered her first songwriting competition and came away a winner - and has been making news with her songwriting and captivating performances ever since. An uplifting brand of jazz, pop and folk, Kit's amazing vocal range and keyboard skills perfectly frame her intelligent, poignant and sometimes laugh-out-loud funny lyrics. In addition to performing around her home base of Austin, Texas Kit travels regularly as a guest soloist, music director and inspirational speaker at New Thought churches, conferences, workshops and music festivals.
