My favourite thing to do is spend time with Matthew hanging out, walking Rupert by the river or working in our house.
I'm interested in home decorating, house flipping and art.
I love worship, playing my piano at home. Right now I crave quiet family time and any moments that are less BUSY.
Music
I love to listen to worship music. Right now I really like Starfield and I have many good friends that are fantastic worship leaders and musicians - Heather Clark, Kim Smith, Daniel Bremnes and Simon Hoskyn.
I also enjoy Peter Gabriel, Cold Play, and U2
and then the oldies...Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Cat Stevens and Van Morrison
Movies
My FAVOURITE Movie is 'Return to Me', but I'm pretty much a sucker for all chick flicks.
You know those movies your husband never wants to watch with you... What's the deal with Rambo anyways. I just don't get it.
Television
We used to really like this show called Property Ladder and I like wathching HGTV, Dog the Bounty Hunder, and UFC with my husband. But... since we bought our house we have no cable so it's all about the evening news and 24.
Books
Right now I'm reading 'A Case for Christ' by Lee Strobel and 'Romans' by Boice
Heroes
My Grandma Sperling and my Mom are both incredibly creative and diverse women. They both lived/live very rich lives with love for their art, their families, and God. I hope to be the same.
I also love the heroes of the faith such as Reese Howells, Jonathan Edwards, Katherine Kulman and Aimmee Semple McPherson - to name a few. I also work with a pretty great church community and am inspired by the people around me all the time.
I live in Kamloops BC with my husband Matthew and dog Rupert.
I work at The Feast Community Church as an administrator and Personal Assistant for Nolan Clark's travel itinerary.
My husband and I serve in our church as leaders of new comers connections ministry. I also frequently have the priveledge of leading passionate 'Feasters' in worship on Sunday mornings.
I want God to make my life a seamless garment of worship.

Hey Sonj... Wow!It's really been some time! I'm glad that you found me on here (mind you.. I don't get much time on here these days). I have a little girl Maya Grace now who has just turned a whole 4 months. You would love her. Congrats on the wedding. I did things a little backwards and get married in March. Keep me in the loop. It would be good to hear from you! Luv K
Hey Son, I think we're coming through town Thursday afternoon/early evening. Let's plan a dinner somewhere with a bunch of people. We want to see everyone one last time before the babies come. Call me, lost your home number.
Yeah...no...in rona's eyes i'm still the criminal...the manager never phoned me to apologize...maybe it had something to do with the fact that when i was in there i looked like the biggest skid in the world...work clothes, love 'em or hate 'em, will sometimes get you in trouble...haha...
you don't have to boycott though...they're a Canadian company and the bigger evil would be buying from home depot...the American super-hardware/evil-billionaire clubhouse!!!
ooh, kamloops road trip? I'll have to seriously think about it! I was planning to go to Penticton sometime for a weekend, maybe we could add Kamloops to the roster!
Miss the kamloops crew, that is for sure, although life is full here.
we'll see what pans out, haven't heard a good wheeze from Kate in a LONG while...
maybe see you soon!
sarah
Hi Mrs. Spooner! How are you? From the looks of all these blissful marriage pictures, you are doing beautifully and in love!
What's new with you? I'm taking it easy this summer, before dance school (with the Rosens at the dance barn) starts again in the fall! Wahoo! I'm living the dream and living in a motorhome on their property! ha ha
okay, look forward to hearing from you!
avalanche was really great. i also got invited to play at another church on sunday, and got to play at a coffee shop with some friends who were touring through. so... lots of playing, and i enjoyed every minute of it! i wasn't at the conference much during the days, but i did meet some great people there and have some great conversations and sunshine throughout the weekend. how are you??
we are doing well-just got past some crazy immigration stuff...
we are trying to figure out what God has for us next now.
thank you for being so great about staying in touch, not my strong point at the moment!
we love you guys too!

yes, it was agreed by all that we had a splendid time hanging out with you. i'm glad we had a nice day to walk around. we made it home safely....besides one glitch- getting scolded at a road block for not having my "N" displayed!! see you again sometime...
Hi again, Yes, I got your message. It was on the machine when we got back from our walk. THANKS so much! We just now got back from dinner at Elizabeth's Restaurant in Cloverdale. B. came with us (she brought over a basket of pink calla lilies - beautiful - and then joined us for dinner).
Also, meant to say, your time with the cousins sounds like so much fun! Sodom indeed!!
Hi Sonia, We had a great weekend. B&G were here for lunch. B. came over this morning again (bearing a gift - a Stargazer Lily and card) before his road test. He came back later for lunch and very happy. NO MORE "N"! (We're going out for dinner too :)
Sonia!
It was so refreshing to hang out with you and Matt! I hope this isn't presumptious (hehehe) but I would love to come over and meet your puppy and see what you've done with your house! Bless you both!
Happy Happy Birthday!! So glad we could have a cake together last week. (For some reason your birthday is displaying as the 16th on my MS reminder - but we all know that's wrong - it's today!)
Hi! Our trip was great! We got home late afternoon - clear roads all the way, not like when we drove down into rain, snow with a little sun mixed in.
On Tuesday morning they moved Grandpa to a different room (by himself with a window onto the courtyard) and we were there to help with that. Then spent the afternoon with Loyd, Mara dn Camille in their very posh villa at Manteo. Mara even had an ice-cream cake for all the April birthdays (Robin, April, yours [in absentia] and, of course, Mom)
We have grass seed - you could have taken some from here. The cedars will be very nice.
