Hi there,
My name is Jan Teddy Stolpe, and I am a mixer and producer in Los Angeles, California.
I have been mixing and producing music for about a decade now. Despite a lot of good times working on music for grammy winning recording Artists like Faith Hill, George Jones, Alan Jackson, etc., my SonicArt partner Andrea and I made the move from Nashville to Los Angeles to work on a wider variety of projects, especially some with a little more crack and punch ;-). However, we are still big fans of great songwriting. Andrea in particular is an incredible wordsmith herself with a number of major writing credits and a teaching position at Berklee College of Music's Online program.
Some of my more recent work includes production and mix for “Glare of Rockets”, and “Letters Burning”. Special congrats to “TwentyFour64”, who's new single "Taking Over" is apparently getting serious radio spin after finishing the mix here not too long ago !!!

Our goal is to help both artist and label realize their vision, assisting in every way during the production process. Whether sifting and organizing music, lyric, and production ideas with, or handling these elements for the artist, whether just mixing or producing or even assisting with writing material, we strive to maintain the artist’s personal experience, style and strengths at a high level of musical and technical integrity.
Although we work on Studios all over Los Angeles, our own SonicArt Productions facility features ProTools HD3 with Apogee conversion, and PlugIns like Waves SSL collection, UAD’s collections, Massey, Sonalksis, DUY, SoundToys, Celemony, etc.
On the analog side SonicArt Studios features outboard processing by SSL, API, SPL, Universal Audio, DBX, etc.
