Sonicbloom, the hip-hop collective based in the San Francisco Bay Area, has been producing, performing and releasing music as a group since 2003. 2005 marked their first official release on CFO Recordings. "From the Get-Go" the 18-track debut album helped the group define their sound, and get their feet wet in the industry. Inspired to evolve as musicians, writers and producers, the group immediately began writing new songs, while conitinuing to travel and perform up and down the west coast in their DJ/MC/Instruments/Live PA format. In May of 2008, Sonicbloom released their second full-length album "Paradigm Lift," which gained more national and international attention. Songs from "Paradigm Lift" earned spots on playlists at close to 50 independent and college radio stations around the US and beyond. After the release, the group hit the stage constantly, performing at over 60 shows on the west coast in the year. Sonicbloom's studio work hasn't suffered, as the producers and MC's have been churning out new material consistently, preparing for the release of their third full-length album "Motherlode" due out in 2009. For those who just can't wait, CFO Recordings and Sonicbloom are releasing a "Summertime EP" with songs from the forthcoming album to give you something to vibe to for the Summer!
