Here is a video of manager Jonny Love Hammersmith getting us ready for a big interview with a Brit:
When Sonic Love Tonic was born from a late-night burst of enthusiasm at a bachelor party in 2004, the band was confronted with just one minor hurdle: three of the five would need to learn their instruments on the job. Not intimidated by this minor detail, the five good friends persevered to turn a labor of love (after just five years and a few beers) into a rock and roll band. And since a rock and roll band without an album is pretty much just a bunch of guys making noise and jumping around, the gang decided to put it all together and make a record. Never Once Was is Sonic Love Tonic's debut album.
A striking, hook-laden debut album, Never Once Was is a combination of uplifting melodies and creative storytelling, a presentation of classic American rock and roll with a bit of a hipster twist. The band's radiant style, love for music and commitment to excellence is reflected in their music and revealed on this album. Scruffy pop overtones are juiced up, shaken deliberately in a mixer and then slammed down in front of you, allowing the spray of Sonic Love Tonic to fill the air and delights the senses.
Jonny Love Hammersmith, the manager of the band, is working very hard on getting the guys to wear more leather.
