My name's Paul Baker, i'm 28 and from Birmingham, but i've just moved down to Exeter. I've been writing music, making noise and generally experimenting with sound for years now. I've always loved listening to music from a very early age, its something that has been a very important part of my life for many reasons over the years, though i think mainly because it makes me smile :) One of the most exciting things for me is hearing new music, my insatiable hunger for something different and interesting is my driving force. I love sharing music with people, especially if they havent heard it before, because i know how happy it makes me, hence i love dj-ing, although i havent been mixing for as long as i've been writing. Its been so many years now since the name Turdboy emerged in my slightly warped brain that i cant really remember why it came about or even if there was a reason in the first place, i could offer a few possibilities but i dont want to offend or disgust anybody ;) ... well, unless its aurally! I also use the names The Bagpiper and Cumulus depending on the style of my tunes. On the whole though i would say my music has a good sense of humour if nothing else, all be it a rather depraved one at times :) Its no surprise that i enjoy watching a lot of comedy too, my favourites include The League Of Gentlemen, The Mighty Boosh, Nighty Night, Peep Show, Reeves & Mortimer, Bill Hicks, Chris Morris, Steve Coogan, Monty Python, Snuff Box, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, South Park, Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpsons, Futurama, Beavis & Butthead. I'm really into animation and computer graphics, and how they interact with sound. Anyway, hope you enjoy my music, send me a message for feedback or more information... or just to say hello :)

Hey, sorry for not replying for a while...I don't use myspace much either. Yeah i'll definitely send you some mp3's sometime, although anything more than 6 months old of mine is incredibly crude, (i've only been producing for a couple of years). I'd also be well interested in hearing some more of your work, and I'd be honoured if you would remix some tracks of mine. Collaborating would also be great. I don't have any experience with people remixing my tracks, so you'll have to guide me. My email is internal-pudding@hotmail.com, so send me an email with some tracks in or something, and i'll send you some tracks and samples or something so you can do a remix. Oh and I look forward to seeing you play at the exeter pheonix as well! Cheers, Jan (pronounced Yan).
Ello mate. Thanks, was a bit drunk when I wrote that. It made sense to me at the time lol. Must stop drinking and myspacing!! :-S
I'm ashamed to say I've not had a chance, you know how my hotmail always goes 99% and hangs when I download yr stuff. I'm suffering from severe email debt at the mo, think bankruptcy is the only option.
