EISSCHOCK - "Play The Game" SONX 016 (Web-EP, digital only) street date: oct. 17. 2008
EISSCHOCK is a female solo project from Germany, combining lots of opposites. On the one hand Eisschock shows a fascinating cool dominance and aloofness, on the other hand she is a warm empathic being with a high degree of sensiblity.
Eisschock combines these apparently opposites to a harmonic overall picture, which defines the unique style of Eisschock.
After her debut album „Therapie“, the one-woman-electroproject EISSCHOCK is back with the web-e.p. „Play The Game“.
The title track „Play The Game“ is not only featured as an audiotrack but as a video as well.
GLENN LOVE - "Cruel Utopia" (digital only re-release) SONX 015 (digital only) street date: sept. 05. 2008
After the original CD release has sold out, the tracks of Canadian electro act GLENN LOVE 's debut album are available now for download at the leading MP3 shops.
"Cruel Utopia" is a masterpiece in electronic dark ambient music.
GLENN LOVE - "Cryptesthesia" SONX 014 (CD-Album) street date: sept. 05. 2008
New CD album by the Canadian electro act GLENN LOVE .
With this new third release „Cryptesthesia“ GLENN LOVE moves from the ambient to the dark electro / industrial scene, without forgetting his roots in dark ambient trance.
For the first time GLENN LOVE sings (partially in German), introducing new hits for the electro-industrial dance floor.
Leading up to this new release Glenn toured in Canada and Europe. The new up tempo tracks like „Hang on“, „Schnee von gestern“ and „Sagt mir wo“ were welcomed with a great response on the dance floor. The down tempo songs like „Nuit Musee“ and „Cryptesthesia“ and the hypnotic „Airships - Wutklang Mix“ also proved to be very danceable. The two quieter tracks on the album, „River“ and „Outskirts“, round out the development of Glenn‘s style.
The intense new sound on the „Cryptesthesia“ CD was produced and mastered at the German TS-Musix studio. The album will be released by the German label Sonic-X, which has been working as a sub label of Danse Macabre since early 2008.ro scene.
NOVASTORM - "Bitch to the Bone" SONX 013 (CD-Album) street date: march 25. 2008
NOVASTORM is a German duo, formed by the two devoted musicians Tandrin (known from MECHANICAL MOTH) and Disdain.
In the middle of 2006 Tandrin and Disdain started to materialize their imagination for a sick, brutal and erotic industrial-electro music style, resulting in NOVASTORM. Tandrin has released 3 successful albums with MECHANICAL MOTH before, and the first NOVASTORM songs came from musical experiments within this band.
After many songs were already proven as dance floor magnets, Tandrin decided that this originally intended hard side-project of MECHANICAL MOTH was worth to be worked out independently from his main band. So NOVASTORM became a total new storm to be out to boom over the electro dance floors.
This combination of hard industrial electro and brutal or erotic lyrics, which are standing out from the usual uniformed stomping dance floor electro however, will work well on the dance floors of the dark electro scene.
KAOS-FREQUENZ - "Never Ending Torture" SONX 012 (CD-Album) street date: february 28. 2008
Sonic-X presents a new name on the harsh-electro / industrial dance floors: KAOS-FREQUENZ from Germany release their strong debut album “Never Ending Torture”, which will hit the nerve of the dark electro / industrial scene.
Mastermind Torsten Kroke is singer and composer of this project, his live-performance is assisted by the female keyboard player Khaly from France. The music by Kaos-Frequenz is clearly positioned in the line of danceable powerful electro-industrial-goth.
12 highly danceable songs deal with topics like human control, supervising, suppression and double morality. As an emphasis and a visual means of expression, elements of the world of Fetish / SM are used in the optical presentation of Kaos-Frequenz.
German electro band SKORBUT present a video footage from their 2007 live concert at Minsk (Belarus), which also reveals a new, still unreleased song "Phantom Pain".
