SONI-K was born in 1977, started her musical studies at the age of 14, looking up to bands like the beatles, the clash, creedence, the cranberries and other argentinian bands. At the age of 17 started her musical career with a band called ISIS, which performed musicals styles such as rock, rockabilly,punk rock and oldies.
Later on, she moved and travelled around Europe and the States, performing with diferent artists on diferent cities.
First show in NY was at the Village Underground, and kept on playing for diferent latin venues.
Back in Argentina was the singer, songwriter and co- producer of a successfull independent band called URBANA that performed ELECTRO INDIE music.
Today she's recording her next album ANIMAL, which blends diferent styles such as folk, rock, indie and pop and planning to release it by the end of the year 2009.
