Rooted in a classic rock style and accompanied by profound lyrics of life, love and progressive change, the North Hills based group, Son Locuaz, continues to rock the Los Angeles independent music arena after having undergone a major line up change. Originally fronted by Alberto Marines, Roman Lopez, known in the scene for being the legendary drummer of LA band Afixión on drums, Rei Hernandez on low frequencies and Paul de la Cruz on guitar, the band was ready to say goodbye to the stage when Marines was forced to leave the band due to personal reasons. Soon enough, word of their break up got to German Briseño, known in the scene for fronting Seattle's Los Burbanks. Fast-forward to four months later and now with Briseño fronting the band, Son Locuaz prepares to record a debut EP that is set to be released early next year which is being produced by the legendary Roy Z. Overseas and southwest tour is currently being negotiated for Son Locuaz, which will serve as the band’s out-of-Cali debut, taking them directly into Europe and Japan as well as into Arizona and Texas.
