Sonny Daze was formed during the summer of 2002 in Lowellville, Ohio. They have been playing the local Youngstown/Cleveland area since they have been together. They have been seen with O.A.R, The Clarks, Red Wanting Blue, Virginia Coalition, Matt Nathanson, Toothpick, View From Everest, The Poverty Neck Hillbillies and Blake Shelton at a host of venues such as The Cellar (Struthers, Ohio), Tower City Amphitheater (Cleveland, Ohio), and The Chevy Center (Youngstown, Ohio), and many others. Sonny Daze is made up of four members: Matt Wolfe (guitar, vocals), Bill Wharry (Bass, vocals), Matt Meehan (guitar, vocals), and Ross Morrone (drums, vocals). Currently they are working on an album that has turned into a seven month project due to the bands own critique of their work as well as time restraints that is to be released hopefully by early 2007. The album features songs that describe the bands effort to make music that is unique to them as a band and their love for making music that they enjoy, as well as songs that describe personal experiences.
