Sonny Maestro lives in Denmark and is a devoted composer and sound creator. Since 1990 he has been programming all kinds of synthesizers both professionally and as a hobby.
So far Sonny Maestro has composed and produced more than 18 of his own opuses (albums - also called the project Aries) in a wide range of genres such as classical, drum'n'bass, new-age, film music, disco and more. Since 1990 he has completed roughly one new opus per a year.
The three electronica albums Chipland, Chiplander's Return and Chipism offer a unique mixture of old and modern digital sound elements. The musical expression has bonds to the electronic music of the 80ies but with a refreshing twist and its own personality it would not be wrong to call this a new genre.
