Religion is a word that is completely twisted by people who would have you believe that the same thing that has happened for hundreds of years is something new now. It's a beautiful thing. According to James 1:27, it's being pure. It's helping needy widows and orphans. Not being corrupted by lusting after the material things. This is why I do my best to be religious.

joys in life
I find that the best things in life are the things you often take for granted. For instance, I love God. He's absolutely amazing. But He's so easy to take for granted.
I love my family: Mommy, Dad, Jacob, Suzanne.
I love my girlfriend, Kathryn.
I love my friends: Megan, Samantha, Alyssa, Ben, Jonathan, Ellen, Bryan.
I love those people I haven't talked to in eons who always made me smile. There are too many of those to name.
I love to create art. This can come in a variety of ways. For instance, I love to design graphics. I love to edit videos. I love to build things. I love to draw.
I love listening to worship music. Jeff Deyo is one of my favorites. My brother is another one of my favorites.
I love reading books. Ted Dekker is my favorite author.
I love watching a good, clean TV show or movie. Those are hard to come by nowadays, which is probably why I resort to older movies and television shows like Singin' in the Rain, The Sound of Music, Arsenic and Old Lace, Mork and Mindy, and the Ed Sullivan Show.
I love buying odd objects and weird clothing from thrift stores.
I love reading the Bible. It's like a multi-layered chocolate cake...with endless layers.
I love writing. It's a mixing bowl, where I can churn ideas until a final product begins to take place.
I love people who appreciate the finer things of life. Like dancing in the rain. Playing on playgrounds. Acting like a dolphin in the ocean. Building things with Legos. Buying food, walking out of the store, and giving it to someone who is hungry or without a roof over their heads. Telling corny jokes. Hugging. Thumb wars.
I love people who refuse to get drunk or smoke. Any wuss can get drunk or rely on nicotine. It takes a real man to rely on God. Aside from the fact that those things kinda tear up your body.

I want to get a bachelors in graphic design. I also want to become a doctor of apologetics.
I want to be able to change lives. Without people even knowing it.
I want for people to look at me and know that I'm happy. Not because I'm stoned. Because I'm a Christian. It's cheesy, but it'd be really cool.
