Born out of the ashes and inspiration that was Schaft Schwein was an international industrial super group that consisted of Imai Hisashi and Sakurai Atsushi of Buck-Tick, Sascha Konietzko of KMFDM and Raymond Watts of Pig that had a brief but hugely successful existence in 2001.
Bringing together a wealth of experience and ideas the highly stylised group released a debut CD “Schweinstein” and a follow up remix EP “Son of Schweinstein” to huge acclaim which saw “Schweinstein” break into the top 20 album sales in Japan and followed it up with a short mini tour without Konietzko who cited a desire to work on KMFDM instead.
The live version of Schwein boasted an impressive line up and was bolstered by playing to sell out crowds at every venue.

At the conclusion of the tour Schwein was disbanded and its members returned to there own projects. To date Schwein has never been heard of again.

I guess it's just another way of saying look ahead and don't look back, but I thought how true it is that it doesn't matter what we have been through, our self-perceived flaws or our so-called failures.
