Sonoprint is composed of three members now living in Portland, OR - Seattle, WA and Coeur d'Alene, ID. We have played, recorded and performed together in one form or another since 1994. Sonoprint is our new upstart company expanding our work for Netlabel/CD release and post production film/tv soundtracks. Mik has also been doing some Post Production Audio work.
Sonoprint projects are rich, moody and alive with a mix of traditional instruments, percussion, strings, loops, softsynth pads, field recordings and vocals in some cases. We produce background music and atmospheres for TV documentaries, indie films, video games etc.

Hey Thanks so much! Sorry it took so long to reply! I have a small little short film in my head at the moment, so I really might take you up on your offer about the music. I haven't started filming it, hell, I haven't even written down the story yet, but keep in touch! Thanks again! -Ariel
HeySonoprint,
I just wanted to tell all of my dear myspace friends that the Psycho Key movie "Harvest" is now available online.
You can order at: http://www.silverbirchprod.com/store/proddetail.asp?prod=1111
Shot in India, Europe and the Caribbean, Psycho Key tells us this fascinating tale of adventures that take place between the hills of St. Lucia, the stages of European festivals and the wide open sea. The whole soundtrack is recorded and filmed live onstage and is mixed in with the original dialogues of the movie.
So, what is it about ?
Jahweve has spent his entire life on the island. He has seen the big world on tv. He wants to travel...he wants to become a musician On his small Carribean island there is no work, fishing doesn't make any money, farming even less. Visas are impossible to obtain and flights cost a fortune. As a Rasta, the only solution is to grow weed in the mountains, this way he can hope to buy a chance to achieve his dreams. But the army helicopters are coming to the hills more and more frequently to burn the plantations, and it is becoming very dangerous for him.
One morning, as he still sleeps, he has a vision, he sees faraway lands, hears strange music and meets people he never knew even existed. This is a sign for him. He decides to harvest his plants as soon as possible and leave for Martinique on a small boat. Of course nothing comes that easy..
